I'm not sure of the legality and I doubt it is safe. What are your thoughts on this creation?

1983 Toyota SR-5 4x4 Pickup Truck "Mirage Limited Edition"
The Toyota Hilux trucks from the 1980s are tough. If you don't think so watch the Top Gear Episode where Jeremy tries to destroy one. This example was purchased new in 1983 by a middle aged man who drove it very sparingly for the next 35 years. The truck only has 104k miles and it was garaged.
